Matlab and Simulink is offered to the whole campus through Matlabs Online Portal/Campus-Wide License agreement. Faculty and Cadets are covered by the campus-wide license and can install software on their computers with out the need of IT assistance.
It is highly recommended to complete the 2 hour Matlab Onramp introductory tutorial of commonly used features and workflows if you are not familiar with Matlab.
